Dinner was at Haiku. We asked to sit at a regular table (as opposed to the Hibachi tables) this time. You can still order Hibachi items, they just cook them over in the cooking area. I believe there is a sushi bar there as well. But honestly, I’ve never paid close enough attention.
We compared tans.
It was a good dinner.
Zung and I went to the Lobby Bar and hung out with Daniel.
I had some Havana siete and Zung had a margarita.
The Grand is a beautiful, luxurious facility and has great food and good service. But what really sets it apart for us is how nice the staff is. We will be returning in 2 1/2 weeks to celebrate my birthday. I considered going somewhere else, but after being at the Grand for this trip I decided the people make it a place you want to come back to.
We returned to our room to find this waiting for us.
Tomorrow was our last full day. You now what happens on the last day, don’t you? You say to yourself, we’ve been here a week and haven’t done anything. Hurry up, we have to do something. So, we did.
